Kids Program
At Brooklyn Korean School, our goal is to help students develop their Korean language skills in an engaging and immersive environment while fostering a deeper connection to Korean culture, heritage, and history. Our curriculum builds proficiency in both spoken and written Korean, with a focus on grammar, vocabulary, writing, listening, and reading comprehension.
Our program serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, with five classes divided by age and registration to create an age-appropriate and supportive learning environment. Students learn Korean language, culture, and heritage through a combination of structured lessons and hands-on activities, including songs, crafts, storytelling, games, and cultural discussions.
Throughout the semester, students are also exposed to Korean history, traditions, and contemporary culture, helping them better understand and connect with their Korean heritage. We also welcome guest speakers and special visitors who share their work, experiences, and perspectives, giving students opportunities to learn about Korean culture and the Korean-American experience beyond the classroom.
Our goal is to help students feel confident using Korean while developing a deeper appreciation for the language, history, culture, and traditions that shape Korean identity.
Our 12-week session meets Saturday mornings from 9:30 AM–11:30 AM.
We will be accepting students ages 5 and up (born in 2021) for our 2026-2027 school year.
